  1. Orbis, AI process discovery. Where is work really getting stuck? On paper, a refund takes 4 steps and 2 days: request, review, approve, refund. Rebuilt from your systems, documents and interviews, it takes 9 days in practice. Refunds wait 6 days at approval, and 4 in 10 are sent back to review. Orbis recommends the change; your team decides.
  2. Lumen, AI data discovery. Is our data even ready for AI? The use case is refund approvals. The company's data sits in 5 systems, CRM, ERP, billing, support and files, with no shared map. Lumen maps every system into one map and works out what each field means: in billing, inv_dt is the invoice date. Checked against the use case, Lumen defines the data product: customers from the CRM, invoices from billing, past refunds from support and refund terms from files. Refund approvals are feasible with your data.
  3. Solum, enterprise knowledge graph. Does our AI actually know our business? Asked whether Larkfield's refund can be approved, an assistant without context guesses that refunds are usually allowed within 30 days, with no sources. Solum connects Larkfield to its contract and to invoice 8841, and leaves out the legal notes this user has no access to. The assistant then answers: yes, the refund is within Larkfield's 60-day window, and the invoice is paid, citing the contract and the invoice. Solum supplies the facts; your assistant writes the answer.
